Plot:
Sato Yoshito's (NAOTO) mother Yasue (Ryo) runs the yakiniku restaurant "Negishien" by herself, which is the only legacy left by her late husband. A woman who runs a restaurant alone, raising her son while making loving dishes with her own hands, is a happy time for Yasue, and for Yoshito, eating the food made by his mother is the happiest time. This is "Negishien" which is loved by people, but due to the unfounded report written by the popular food critic Furuyama (Matsuo Satoshi), the number of customers who come to the restaurant has dropped sharply. When the store is recovering little by little, Yoshito wants Yasue, who has been busy with work, to take care of him, so Yasue decides to close the store soon. 18 years later, Yoshito left home and became a freelance writer with no future. One day, he and editor Shizuka Takenaka (Tsuchiya Tao) were appointed to establish a new food information website that only collects "real goods". The theme of the first bullet is "Yakiniku of fate". Although Yoshito decided to accept the job, he was also troubled by the job. At this time, he received news that his estranged mother, Yasue, was ill. Yoshito could not make up his mind to meet his mother. Through visiting famous restaurants for interviews, he encountered the nostalgic taste of "Negishien", tasted the "food", and understood his mother's thoughts through the bond with "people", and Yoshito's heart also changed.
