Plot:
The witch Gothel (voiced by Donna Murphy) relies on a magical golden flower to stay young. The queen is seriously ill, and the king sends someone to find this golden flower to treat the queen. The queen recovers and gives birth to a little girl with blonde hair, Rapunzel (voiced by Mandy Moore). The witch loses the golden flower, but finds that the little princess's blonde hair has the same magic, so she steals Rapunzel and locks her up in a tower without stairs in the forest. Eighteen years later, Rapunzel grows into a beautiful woman with long blonde hair under the care of the witch. She is more and more eager for the outside world. In order to keep her youth forever, the witch tries every means to keep Rapunzel by her side. One day, the thief Flynn (voiced by Zachary Levi) steals the princess's crown and flees into the forest. Out of curiosity, he climbs the mysterious tower and accidentally sees the long-haired princess in the tower. Accompanied by Flynn, Rapunzel walks down the tower and begins a great adventure in life and love. This film is the 50th animated feature film of Disney. It is adapted from the classic Grimm fairy tale "Tangled" and is the first animation directorial debut by Glen Keane, a veteran Disney artist.
