Adapted from the novel "The First Undercover in the Southern Song Dynasty", it tells the story of Qiantang County's Chief Constable Shen Mo (played by Tang Yuzhe) who was forced to be involved in a murder case in Guifanlou during the Southern Song Dynasty, thus gradually uncovering an unknown and shocking secret.
