Plot:
The Afghan parliamentary election is about to be held. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the election, the U.S. Marine Corps and special forces conducted a series of thorough inspections in the jurisdiction. In a turbulent area, the former Taliban leader Ahmed Shah took the opportunity to expand and became a thorn in the eyes of the United States that the United States was eager to get rid of. According to the intelligence, Shah's armed forces are hidden in a mountainous area. Lieutenant Mike Murphy (Taylor Kitsch) of the Navy SEAL reconnaissance team led Danny Dietz (Emile Hirsch), Matt Axelson (Ben Foster) and Marcus Rattle (Mark Wahlberg) to search for intelligence. However, their whereabouts were soon discovered by local shepherds. Although the other party was an ordinary civilian, it posed a problem for the team. If the Shepherd is executed, the team will face trial in a military court; if the Shepherd is released, these four American soldiers may fall into an unprecedented catastrophe... This film is based on the memoir of the same name by Marcus Luttrell.
