Plot:
During World War II, Soviet pilot Mikhail Devitaev was captured by the Germans during a mission. He tried to escape from the prisoner-of-war camp but failed, and was later taken to the concentration camp on Usedom Island by the Germans. Due to the lack of labor, he was selected to participate in the production of the German V2 rocket, while also dealing with unexploded bombs and building runways. Over time, he came up with the idea of stealing German planes and sneaking back to his country. In order to realize this plan, he began to look for opportunities to understand the structure and operation of German aircraft. Finally, on February 8, 1945, he successfully stole a German bomber and took 9 prisoners of war to escape from Germany and return to his homeland. This film is adapted from real events.
