Plot:
Before his death, King Jinheung, the 24th ruler of Silla, passed the throne to his grandson King Jinpyeong, but the seal holder Misil (played by Ko Hyun-jeong) formed a group of followers and seized power. Before the national immortal Moonnoo received a divine revelation that the Big Dipper would become eight stars, Misil would be invincible. But on the day when Queen Maya gave birth to twins, the Big Dipper became eight stars, which indicated that a wise ruler would be born to replace Misil. However, there was a prophecy that if the royal family gave birth to twins, it would mean "the end of the holy bones of men", which was an ominous sign. In order to protect his daughter and queen, King Jinpyeong decided to send his second daughter Deokman out of the palace. With the help of Moonnoo, the maid Sohu took Deokman to escape from Misil's pursuit and fled to the desert area of China. 15 years later, Deokman (played by Lee Yo-won) has grown into a smart and beautiful girl. It is destined that she will return to her homeland Silla, defeat Misil, and unify the three kingdoms. "Queen Seondeok" was written by Kim Young-hyun, the screenwriter of the TV series "Dae Jang Rei" which was popular in Asia, and directed by directors Kim Geun-hong and Park Hong-kyun, with many performing stars joining the performance.
