Humans have established a new home on a distant alien planet similar to Earth, but there is a virus on this planet. After being infected, men can hear the voices of other people and animals. The thoughts in each man's head can be heard by others. There is no privacy between people. The men in the town of Prentis on the new planet can't stand their thoughts being heard. Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) is a boy born in this town. In his cognition, there are no women in the town because the native inhabitants of the planet, the Blue Light Beast, deliberately infected humans with the noise virus when their homes were invaded by humans, and they also killed all the women. Todd believed it until he met a girl. Todd met a girl named Viola (Daisy Ridley) in the forest near the town. She came from a distant earth. Her spaceship crashed in the forest for some reason. The mayor of Prentis Town immediately started to hunt them down after learning the news. In order to protect the girl Viola, Todd had to flee together and began an unexpected and crisis-ridden planetary adventure.
