Jack (Jackie Chan), an archaeology professor, has not stepped out of the school for many years. The principal and students are skeptical of his exaggerated history. After a class, an Indian girl finds Jack and attracts Jack's attention with a thousand-year-old map. So Jack and his best friend's son Lee Jones (Aarif Lee) and assistant Xiaoguang (Lay Zhang) form a "treasure hunting team" to adventure for the "mysterious gem". They race with local tycoons in Dubai, dive into mysterious ice caves in Iceland, fight hyenas in India, and dance with Indian nobles. The action comedy is upgraded to make the world laugh.
