Everything started with a science fiction novel. The science fiction novel by novelist Yang Kuang (played by Liu Zhaoming) describes a method of transforming new humans, which is to extract human brain cells and transform them, so as to even control the thoughts of the transformed. All these seemingly absurd ideas were favored by a wealthy businessman who was plotting to control the whole world. He funded the establishment of a laboratory, recruited a group of men, and captured Yang Kuang for experiments. Later, Yang Kuang escaped and was sent to the hospital. Doctor Yuan Zhenxia (played by Liming) is a martial arts master and a righteous man. He found that Yang Kuang was very taciturn, his eyes were dull, and he often washed his hands with water. Yang Kuang's abnormal behavior attracted Yuan Zhenxia's attention. He and nurse Caiyun (played by Zhu Yin) were determined to find out the secrets hidden behind Yang Kuang.
