The story takes place on a colonial spaceship named "Covenant", which carries two thousand sleeping colonists. Their destination is the distant planet Omega VI, hoping to build a new home there. An accident destroyed the energy collection sail of the Covenant, and Captain Branson (James Franco) died unfortunately. As the acting captain, Olang (Billy Crudup) led the terrified and sad crew to land on an unknown mysterious planet. Here, they met the bionic man David (Michael Fassbender), who warmly welcomed the arrival of humans and told about his experience living here with the late Dr. Shaw (Noomi Rapace). Just as David gradually won the trust of the crew, everyone has stepped into the hell that the former carefully built for them.
