Plot:
Wei Yisheng (played by Guo Jinan) and his wife Ruan Qiao (played by Wan Qiwen) have been married for many years and have raised their son Wei Zicong (played by Chen Zile). Although their lives are dull, they are also full of happiness. One day, Wei Yisheng and his colleagues went to Vietnam to work. Unexpectedly, they were kidnapped and imprisoned by local rioting workers and completely lost contact with their families. Ten years later, I don’t know whether it was lucky or unfortunate, Wei Yisheng was rescued and returned to Hong Kong. However, what he didn’t expect was that in the legal sense, he was already a "dead man", which means that everything he once had has turned into a bubble. Not only that, Ruan Qiao married Wei Yisheng’s good friend Lin Haoren (played by Huang Debin) after thinking that her husband was dead, and Wei Zicong was unwilling to admit that the now downtrodden Wei Yisheng was his father. Wei Yisheng decided to take back everything that belonged to him through his own efforts.
