FOX has announced that it will directly book a spin-off of 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star. As the title suggests, the show is set in the Lone Star state of Texas, USA, starring Rob Lowe. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, the original cast of the original show, will jointly take charge of this spin-off. The show tells the story of a New York police officer Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) who brings his son to Texas in order to find a balance in his life. While dealing with his own problems, the protagonist has to continue to protect citizens in the new place.
