Plot:
In 1945, when the Anti-Japanese War was drawing to a close, the wrestling between the Kuomintang, the Communist Party and Japan became increasingly fierce, and undercurrents surged under the calm sea. As the military spy Li Haifeng defected to the Wang Puppet Regime in Nanjing, Yu Zecheng (played by Sun Honglei), a member of the Military Intelligence Department, was ordered to go to Nanjing to assassinate the traitor, but unexpectedly took another path. After the CCP's rebellion, Yu Zecheng returned to the military as an underground party member and became a rivet in the heart of the Kuomintang.
