Shawn Levy will once again work with his old partner 20th Century Fox to direct the new film Crater. Levy will also adapt the original script written by John J. Griffin. The story is described as a sci-fi version of Stand By Me, telling the story of a boy who grew up in a lunar colony and three friends who went to a mysterious crater to explore the mystery, but an accident happened. The film's script was once selected into the 2015 "Hollywood Script Blacklist".
