Plot:
In the war-torn era, heroes emerged. Pei State, which ruled one side, was content with the status quo, and its ruler Pei Liang (played by Zheng Kai) sang a song of peace. Jingzhou, a strategic location, was borrowed by the powerful neighbor Yan State in the early years, but now it is occupied but not returned. Zi Yu (played by Deng Chao), the governor of Pei State, went to fight, but was stabbed by the opponent's general Yang Cang (played by Hu Jun) and was seriously injured. Zi Yu, unwilling to give up, secretly sent a substitute Jingzhou (played by Deng Chao) to pretend to be himself, to be the prime minister of military affairs, and asked his wife Xiao Ai (played by Sun Li) to assist. The real and fake Zi Yu discussed tactics and sought to crack Yang Cang's swordsmanship. On the other hand, Pei Liang was angry that Zi Yu had secretly challenged Yang Cang to a fight, and he did not hesitate to marry his sister Qingping (played by Guan Xiaotong) to Yang Cang's son as a concubine to make peace.
