Plot:
"Mazu" is a mythological inspirational drama that reflects the life and deeds of Mazu. It uses more than 30 widely circulated folk legends of Mazu as materials, and strives to restore a respectable, amiable and lovely image of the saintly Mazu, show the profound Mazu culture, and spread the oriental ocean culture represented by Mazu culture. Different from some previous mythological dramas that are more about entertainment than social education, "Mazu" will reflect the long history of Mazu culture and the rich connotations of morality, charity and great love from the vivid and tortuous life and deeds of Mazu. In addition, unlike the "natural power" of previous mythological dramas, Lin Mo in "Mazu" is a mortal, and his journey to becoming an immortal is a struggle from the bottom up. More than 30 folk legends such as Guanyin giving birth to a child, being pregnant for more than a year, and obtaining a talisman while looking at the well will be interspersed in the drama to witness the process of Mazu moving the heavens and becoming an immortal.
