Plot:
1. In the small town of Fena, engineer Svano (Kim Rossi Stuart) met teacher Carmen (Inés Sastre). They fell in love at first sight, but Carmen refused Svano's kiss. When they met again three years later, Svano stopped in front of lust; 2. In a small seaside town, a director (John Malkovich) met a beautiful woman (Sophie Marceau) while wandering. She confessed to the director that she had killed her father with her own hands. They did not become estranged, but were affectionate and lingering; 3. In Paris, a wife left her unfaithful husband and met Carlo (Jean Reno) who had lost his wife when looking for a house to rent. They seemed to have found a common mood; 4. A handsome boy fell in love with a girl (Irène Jacob). He followed and confessed his love, but learned that she was going to dedicate herself to God. The film won the 1996 Italian Film Journalists Association Silver Ribbon Award for Best Arrangement and the 1995 Venice Film Festival FIPRESCI Award.
