Plot:
The story of "A Happy Family" describes that Fang Tianxin (played by Dong Jie), the eldest daughter of the Fang family, has always been working smoothly as the chief secretary of the chairman of Jiangong Group, but since the chairman's son Wang Shuo (played by Zhai Tianlin) parachuted into the company, all this came to an abrupt end. Tianxin was misunderstood to have an ambiguous relationship with the chairman, so under Wang Shuo's deliberate actions, the two became new work partners, and Wang Shuo intended to keep her under close supervision and closely monitor her, so Tianxin naturally resisted. A tit-for-tat love duel began. At the same time, Fang's eldest son Fang Tianyi (played by Qiu Ze) and youngest son Fang Xiaolong (played by Ren Yunjie) are also experiencing their own emotional tests. When the three were overwhelmed, they unexpectedly received a special "gift" from their father. Fang Yongfu (played by Li Liqun), a single father who has been working hard to raise his children, deeply blames himself for his children's indifference and selfishness, which ultimately stems from his failure in parenting. So in the final journey of his life, he chooses to turn the tables on his children and give them one last lesson of "love education", which is also the last gift to them. The relationship between the two generations is re-arranged. Can the children understand their father's "good intentions"?
