Plot:
On August 20, 2020, Russian opposition figure and anti-corruption activist Alexei Navalny was hospitalized after being poisoned with the Novichok nerve agent. On the flight from Tomsk to Moscow, his condition deteriorated drastically and he was in critical condition. After the plane made an emergency landing in Omsk, Navalny, who was in a coma, was taken to the hospital, and two days later he was transferred to the Charité Hospital in Berlin, Germany. During his recovery, Navalny, who had survived, teamed up with a group of journalists to investigate the murder that targeted him. The film won the 2022 Sundance Film Festival's Most Popular Award and the Audience Award in the U.S. Documentary Competition.
