A high school girl named Satoshi Aizawa confesses her love for her childhood sweetheart Junichiro Kubota, "I love you!", but the latter thinks it is a declaration of "close friends". The "manly" girl wants to be treated "as a girl" by the person she likes, but the result is always to deepen their friendship. This is a love comedy centered around the two of them.
