CBS All Access has directly booked the series "Tell Me a Story" developed and written by Kevin Williamson, the creator of "The Vampire Diaries". This series adapted from the Spanish drama of the same name re-adapts various famous fairy tales and transforms them into dark and twisted psychological thrillers. It is now scheduled to be launched on Halloween (October 31st) in the United States. The 10-episode first season directed by Liz Friedlander is set in modern New York City. The plot will combine "The Three Little Pigs", "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Hansel and Gretel", interweaving into stories including love, loss, greed, revenge and murder. Starring James Wolk, Michael Raymond-James, Sam Jaeger, Zabryna Guevara, Paul Wesley and Kim Cattrall.
