RIDERKABUTO is a work commemorating the 35th anniversary of the birth of Kamen Rider. It adopts the design of the insects of the past (KABUTOMUSHI in Japanese), and is full of metal mechanical sense like Kamen Rider 555. The novel battle scenes use the shooting technique similar to Matrix, and a large number of CGs increase the sense of speed and perception. KABUTO's skills and special moves make him more stylish. The story tells that Shibuya was destroyed by the falling cosmic stone. Seven years later, the cosmic creature WORM appeared and killed humans everywhere. Even the Japanese special organization ZECT was dispatched in vain. Member Kagami Arata knew that only the belt he developed could match the cosmic creature, but he was given to Tendo Souji, who has a calm mind and agile body, to obtain the control of the beetle form KABUTOZECTOR and transform into Kamen Rider KABUTO to defeat WORM. Seven years ago, the space creature WORM fell with the rock and destroyed Shibuya. Its basic form is a green "pupa". It has a uniform appearance with a pair of hands covering its face. It can imitate the appearance, behavior and voice of the human it has met, killing and invading human society. Even ZECT military weapons cannot harm WORM. It evolves from a "pupa" to an adult, and its appearance changes differently. Its activity and destructive ability are greatly improved, and it can perform accelerated mobility beyond human perception. This phenomenon is called "CLOCKUP".
