Plot:
Kim Sam-soon (Kim Sun-ah) is the youngest daughter of a chef. She has no education, no family background, and looks ordinary. She is nothing special when walking on the street, but she has the same cheerful, tenacious and never-give-up character as Dae Jang Geum. It is this character that makes the 29-year-old Kim Sam-soon also achieve some amazing results. She worked day and night while studying, and passed the pastry technician qualification certificate in Paris. She also met the handsome foreign student Hyun-woo (Lee Kyu-han) and started a vigorous love. Unfortunately, Hyun-woo had an affair soon and abandoned Sam-soon. To make matters worse, Sam-soon was fired by the company. Hyun-woo then got engaged to her old neighbor Jang Cai-ri (Lee Yu-mi)! Sam-soon, who was frustrated in both career and love, met Jin-hyun (Hyun Bin) at this time. Although she didn't know the reason, Sam-soon, who was short of money, agreed to Jin-hyun's seemingly absurd love agreement on the condition of borrowing money. After many twists and turns, Jin-hyun's old girlfriend Hee-jin (played by Jung Ryeo-won) comes back to look for him after recovering from cancer, and Henry Kim (played by Daniel Henny), a foreign doctor who has always admired Hee-jin, also comes to Korea; on the other hand, Hyun-woo begins to miss Sam-soon again. A complicated love affair begins...
