The play mainly tells the story of Lao Lin, an electrician who is frustrated in the workplace. He is at a loss as to how to protect the lives of his wife and daughter. After failing to get a promotion, he unexpectedly receives a huge mysterious sum of money. He and four other strangers of different professions and ages are coerced to complete their assigned tasks. Unexpectedly, they are involved in a celebrity kidnapping case. The five are forced to flee together. On the way, they accidentally learn each other's true identities. It turns out that everything that happened is not a coincidence. A bizarre adventure for office workers officially begins.
