Plot:
The story takes place during the fourth battle of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea in early 1951. Liang Chen (played by Luo Jin), the chief of reconnaissance of a certain division of the Volunteer Army, led the division reconnaissance company to blow up the pass in Wuyun Mountain, successfully delaying the U.S. military attack and covering the evacuation of the entire division. On the way back, they rescued the art team members who were captured by the enemy infiltration team and smashed the enemy's combat plan to attack the division headquarters. Liang Chen and others went deep into the enemy's rear to capture prisoners and scout the enemy, providing important and accurate intelligence, laying a solid foundation for our army to conquer the 314 highland battle victory. In a major battle, Liang Chen led the reconnaissance company to cooperate with the front offensive forces, penetrated the enemy's rear and successfully attacked the enemy's headquarters, blowing up the enemy's only retreat bridge. With the support of the Korean People's Army guerrillas, Liang Chen finally defeated Bai Changhao, the captain of the Korean special operations team who had been fighting wits and courage with him, and wrote a heroic epic of the Volunteer Army's "less steel and more spirit" on the battlefield with wisdom and courage. After the victory of the war, Liang Chen also gained love with Wen Jie (played by Ma Sichun), a singer of the art troupe.
