Plot:
A man trapped in the hell of reincarnation has to face the fact that he killed his wife over and over again. How can he break out of this nightmare cycle? Canadian new director Merlin Devesevik spent four years to polish his sword. At first glance, this feature film debut is full of various visual senses. The jumping and looping scenes that constantly change the past are comparable to classic works such as "The Butterfly Effect" and "The Grim Reaper". However, the carefully polished script makes the film extremely rich in layers. In addition to the complex structure, it also has political metaphors and religious meanings. The film was well received when it was screened at the Golden Horse Fantasy Film Festival. The story of Sisyphus being redeemed in reincarnation made the audience still savor it after leaving the theater.
