Plot:
Kobayashi Daigo (Masahiro Motoki), who bought an expensive cello and wanted to make a career, experienced 4 months of orchestral performance, but got the bad news of "the orchestra disbanded" and the high debt of buying musical instruments. As a last resort, Daigo and his wife Mika (Ryoko Hirosue) moved to the old house and lived a poor life. One day, an advertisement attracted Daigo's attention: NK agency, help with travel, high salary and short working hours. Daigo came to NK agency for an interview, and the president Sasaki Iroe (Tsutomu Yamazaki) decided to hire Daigo without saying a word, but avoided talking about the content of the job. After Daigo's repeated questioning, President Sasaki finally said: It's a coffin (Japanese NouKan) job! Although he was psychologically afraid, the high salary still made Daigo accept the job. But such a job is not easy for ordinary people. On the one hand, he was uncomfortable with the remains, and on the other hand, he had to hide his work from his wife and friends. Kobayashi Daigo's extraordinary work began like this.
