This film is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name written by Craig Silvey. It tells the adventure story of Charlie Bucktin, a bookish 14-year-old Australian boy. On a hot summer night in 1969, Jasper Jones, a mixed-race wanderer in the town, suddenly appeared at Charlie's window. Jasper took Charlie deep into the woods and showed him something that would change his life, which would lead the two to embark on a dangerous journey to solve some mysteries that have happened in the town recently. Faced with a broken family and an unknown first love, can Charlie find true courage in this isolated town hidden in secrets and gossip?
