The four state troopers in Vermont: Captain Sonny (Jay Chandrasekhar), team member Mike (Steve Lemme), Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske) and Foster (Paul Soter) are a group of idle highway troopers. They tease children who smoke marijuana, disguise themselves and drive illegal vehicles for racing and gambling, and fight with the city police for the right to investigate the unidentified female corpse case on the roadside... In order to save money, the government plans to lay off the police force, which makes the leisurely state troopers feel pressured, and the relationship between them and the city police becomes increasingly tense. Sonny and others accidentally discovered that the marijuana they seized was related to the female corpse case.
