It's double duty when fate and an ill-executed diamond robbery throw Mel and Franny into a race against time. Mel is a career criminal and single mother. She takes a startled Franny hostage, with detective Ingrid hot in their pursuit. Along the way, the frictionless duo encounters a Berlin underground group that also wants to steal the money and diamonds, and they must get rid of the stolen goods. As the detective and the underground group grow closer, Franny develops a liking for Mel and decides to help her captor. The two soon become a perfect match. Mel takes a handsome cop, Harry, as her hostage, and Franny immediately falls in love with him - the situation gets really chaotic and the happy ending may be just around the corner.
