This film, together with "Love in a Puff" and "My Favorite" directed by Yip Nian-shun, is collectively called the "Love Trilogy". This is the first part of the trilogy. When Lam Ka-wah (Alex Fong) and Kwong Mei-po (Stephy Tang) decided to get married, they each had their own melancholy and anxiety. Fortunately, their married life was quite happy and they both accommodated each other. Soon, Ka-wah, who opened a pet shop, met Josephine (Pace Wu), a secondary school tutor, again when he was holding a pet funeral. Ka-wah still had feelings for her and the two often exchanged text messages. Mei-po began to be suspicious of Ka-wah and even peeked at his mobile phone.
