Tang Zhijun (played by Yang Haoyu) is the editor-in-chief of the editorial department of "Cosmic Exploration", a science fiction magazine that was born in the 1980s. Today, the magazine is declining, and Tang Zhijun has become a down-and-out, lonely man. But he is still obsessed with finding extraterrestrial civilizations for decades. Finally one day, he received an abnormal signal that seemed to come from the depths of the universe, so he summoned his fellow wanderers, and with the question that puzzled him all his life, he once again embarked on a journey to find aliens.
