A24 and DirecTV have acquired the North American distribution rights for Dog Years. The film premiered at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The film was written and directed by Adam Rifkin (writer of Mousehunt), starring Burt Reynolds and Ariel Winter. Burt Reynolds, 81, plays the male protagonist Vic in the film, a former popular movie star who now has to face the reality of his predicament as he is "old and ugly".
