Sky TV has confirmed the third season of Babylon Berlin! Tom Tykwer, Henk Handloegten and Achim von Borris, the directors and writers of the first two seasons, are currently writing the script, and the new season is planned to be filmed in 10 episodes. The new season will be set in the 1930s, when sound films conquered the big screen and many filmmakers were abandoned by the times. After a superstar was found dead, detective Gereon Rath discovered the dark side of this glamorous industry. The new season will be filmed in Berlin and other places this fall.
