Plot:
Trod, a 67-year-old man, lost his love and lost his "interest in talking to people". He was ready to retire to the mountains and live alone in peace for the rest of his life. An encounter with a neighbor reminded him of the summer he spent with his father in the mountains. That was the last time he saw his father, and his fate for the rest of his life was forever determined in that summer. The film is adapted from the masterpiece of Per Patterson, the most prestigious writer in Norway and a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. The film fully absorbs the literary rhythm of the original work, leaving the audience with a long aftertaste.
