Plot:
A group of "Ajumma" contract workers behave themselves every day in a large supermarket, smiling and dealing with all kinds of unreasonable requests from customers. When Sun Hee (played by Yeom Jung-ah), a model employee, finally has the opportunity to become a regular employee after five years, she thought she could celebrate with her son (played by DO) and repair her relationship, but suddenly she and other employees received a notice of dismissal without reason! Being treated unfairly, Sun Hee decided to go on strike with a single mother (played by Moon Jung-hee), a cleaning lady (played by Kim Yeon-ae) and others, and stayed in the supermarket! They sat in peacefully for days, but could not wait for a response from the management, and were even suppressed by force by the police. However, this group of housewives were brave and fearless, and tried every means to fight to the end, just for one request: "We don't expect anything, we just hope you can listen to our voice." This film was inspired by real people and spoke for countless exploited contract workers today. It was shortlisted for the Toronto International Film Festival.
