"Sisters and Brothers' Summer Night" is the feature film debut of director Yoon Dan-bi. Although there are no big stars, it has made a splash with its ordinary and warm family story. It won four awards at the 24th Busan Film Festival, including the Korean Film Directors Association Award, the Citizen Critics Award, the Asian Film Promotion Agency Award, and the KTH Award. It also won the Future Light Award at the 49th Rotterdam International Film Festival, which is highly recognized by the industry. It also received unanimous praise from the audience during the preview stage before the official release. The pre-sale situation in the first week of release was also among the best, which can be said to be a double harvest of word-of-mouth and box office.
