The play mainly tells the story of the number one female thief in Anhun Pavilion who wants to retire to the countryside. She receives a mission to steal the southern border defense map of General Dingnan, the god of war of the Dongrui Kingdom. However, in the process of sneaking into the general's side as a personal attendant, she falls in love with this loyal general and learns about the country's justice.
