Plot:
This is a movie about growing up. The famous writer Gordie (Richard Dreyfuss) recalls an adventure he had when he was 12 years old: At that time, the young Gordie (Wil Wheaton) and his three friends Chris (River Phoenix), Teddy (Corey Feldman) and Wayne went to the forest on the other side of the river to look for the body of a 12-year-old boy in order to be a "hero". The four teenagers have their own family problems, and they all have their own concerns. During the journey, everyone's character is vividly reflected: the weakness and strength of the four boys' characters are maximized in a series of actions such as dodging trains, climbing over iron gates, and crossing forests; everyone has his own unattainable dream...
