At Blackfoot High School in the United States, a girl named Maddie (Caitlin Stasey) is filming a documentary for her friend Alex (Felisha Cooper), who is the captain of the school cheerleading team. Alex is arrogant and domineering, and she is in a hot relationship with Terry (Tom Williamson), the star player of the football team.
