The film has a lot of plot by Remus, who also wrote the script with novelist Jardine Libaire. It focuses on the love and heartbreak that Daphne, a woman in her thirties played by Woodley, encounters in a year, as she uncovers the secrets of her life through a series of events that take her in an unexpected direction.
