Plot:
The Numata family, who live in a high-end community, have an enviable life. Their father, Kazushige (Itao Soji), is the head of the human resources department of a large company; their mother, Kayoko (Suzuki Honami), is gentle and considerate in managing everything at home; their eldest son, Shinichi (Kamiki Ryunosuke), is excellent in academics and all-round in sports; only their youngest son, Shigeyuki (Uragami Seishu), who is in junior high school, is bullied and locks himself up at home and refuses to go to school. Worried about her son's future, Kayoko invites Yoshimoto Hara (Sho Sakurai), a tutor who claims that 100% of his students are admitted to the University of Tokyo. Yoshimoto's eccentric and abnormal behavior makes the Numata couple full of anxiety, but the huge penalty for breach of contract forces them to let it go. The arrival of this teacher is like throwing a stone into the seemingly peaceful Numata family, which not only arouses endless ripples, but also exposes the dark and fragile side of each family member's heart... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Yohei Honma, and the late director Yoshimitsu Morita once brought it to the big screen.
