At the beginning of the new semester, all clubs are actively recruiting new members. The tennis club of the youth academy welcomes a new student Ryoma Echizen (voiced by Junko Minagawa) who has returned from the United States. Although Ryoma is small in stature, he has a strong aura and is taciturn and has a rather arrogant personality, which has attracted the dissatisfaction of his predecessors. But after a competition, it was found that Ryoma is indeed extraordinary. Although he is a freshman, he was selected as a formal team member and his goal is to directly compete in the national competition. The members of the tennis club also have their own skills and personalities. Fuji (voiced by Yuki Kaida), who is always smiling, Oishi (voiced by Takayuki Kondo), Ryoma's friend Momoshiro (voiced by Masaya Onosaka), Momoshi's nemesis Haitang (voiced by Hirohei Kiyami), the noisy Kikumaru (voiced by Hiroki Takahashi), the data-oriented Inui (voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda), and the powerful captain Tezuka (voiced by Ryutaro Okiayu). They have different personalities, but they gradually develop a tacit understanding through running-in. They fight along the way and encounter various challenges from other academies. However, they have only one goal, which is to win the national championship.
