A middle-aged architect has hit a bottleneck in his life. He is abandoned by his wife at home, and the young boss of his company has abandoned him. Unemployed, he suddenly looks back on the streets of Bangkok and glimpses the elephant PopAye, recalling his happy childhood. He resolutely buys the elephant, but finds that city life cannot accommodate them, so he plans to return home with the old elephant all the way north.
