The play tells the story of Zheng Daqian (played by Qi Jiuzhou), deputy captain of the West City Anti-Fraud Center, and the newly recruited police officer Zhong Yi (played by Zhang Yijie) who teamed up to crack multiple fraud cases and established a deep master-apprentice relationship in the process.
