When Charlie was at his worst, he met a racehorse named Pete. Pete, who was strong and gentle, attracted Charlie's attention deeply, and Charlie couldn't help but approach it. Charlie regarded Pete as his best friend, although everyone told him that racehorses were just racehorses, and once they could no longer participate in the competition, they would face the fate of being slaughtered.
