Hassan (Manish Dayal) is a native Indian boy. His family has run a snack stand for generations. Growing up in such an atmosphere, Hassan is full of affection for food. When he grew up, Hassan's family moved to the romantic French town of Lumière, where they resumed their old business and opened an exotic Indian restaurant. The famous chef Mrs. Mallory (Helen Mirren) has a good reputation in the industry, but despite her diligence and continuous improvement of her skills, she still cannot get the recognition and affirmation of Michelin two stars, which makes her feel very distressed. Hassan's restaurant happened to be opened opposite Mrs. Mallory's restaurant. Before they went back and forth, the two had many conflicts. However, Mrs. Mallory noticed Hassan's amazing talent, so she turned hostility into friendship and became his master.
