The story tells the story of the execution of the entire family of Prime Minister Wang Ya during the reign of Emperor Wenzong in the late Tang Dynasty. Two sisters who escaped death met again many years later in different identities and helped the new emperor Li Yan to revive the Tang Dynasty. This drama is adapted from Feihua's novella "Swordsman".
