Plot:
Young Guo Zhenhua (Jackie Chan) went to Hong Kong to seek development. He was involved in a fight between two gangs when he saw injustice on the road, but he became the gang leader by mistake. Guo Zhenhua reflected on this adventure and found that it was Mrs. Rose (Gui Yalei), a street flower seller, who brought him good luck. Since then, he always bought roses from Mrs. Rose before negotiating or going out to seek peace of mind. Guo Zhenhua changed the Ritz Hotel owned by the gang into a nightclub. Yang Luming (Anita Mui), the daughter of the former owner of the hotel, performed in the nightclub to pay off her debts and became famous. Guo and Yang even developed a love affair. The Fujian Gang, which has been coveting the nightclub business for a long time, frequently attacks Guo Zhenhua. Guo, as usual, asks Madam Rose for help, but unexpectedly discovers that Madam Rose is in even bigger trouble. It turns out that she made up her own grand identity so that her daughter who is out of town can study with peace of mind, and now she is finally facing exposure. Out of gratitude, Guo helps Madam Rose to cover up her lie, which triggers a series of jokes... This film is adapted from Frank Capra's work "A Lady for a Day", and a large number of Hong Kong stars make guest appearances in this film.
