Plot:
In the second season, French detective Julien Baptiste will investigate a new case - Alice Webster (Abigail Hardingham), the daughter of Sam Webster (David Morrissey) and Gemma Webster (Keeley Hawes), was kidnapped in a German city in 2003. 11 years later, someone saw her wandering on the streets of the same city. Her return caused an earthquake in the local society and her family was in chaos. The police restarted the investigation of the case and launched a search for the kidnappers again. At the same time, Alice may have key information about another missing girl, Sophie Giroux, and it was Julien who was responsible for investigating Sophie's disappearance. Two years later, Alice's parents Sam and Gemma have become taciturn, and Alice's brother Matthew has become more and more violent and withdrawn. On the other hand, Julien followed a clue to Iraq, and he believed that he would soon find the perpetrator of the girl's kidnapping. The second season has two parallel timelines (past and present) like the first season. (cr天涯小筑)
